Inlays/ Onlays

Inlays and Onlays are similar to dental fillings used to restore damaged teeth. They are produced outside of the mouth (in the dental laboratory) and are attached to the tooth by the dentist. This procedure can be done in 2 visits.

This treatment technique is also called “Adhesive Dentistry” so it is not simply a “filling”. This technique is about completing a tooth to keep it alive with less tissue loss. This type of restorative treatment lasts longer in mouth. It fits enamel and dentine perfectly, so it doesn’t fall off easily. It is very aesthetic and natural looking. An inlay can be done with porcelain or composite.
