Oral Prophylaxis is a procedure done for teeth cleaning which removes bacterial plaque, calculus and stains from the surfaces of your teeth. It also helps to maintain your gingival health.


You need to see your dentist twice a year for cleaning. This will prevent deep pockets, halitosis, gum bleedings and gum diseases. 


You need to visit your dentist more often, if you are in a high risk group. These are:
