This procedure is also called “bleaching”. In general, Hydrogen Peroxide gels are used for whitening in multiple sessions. Worldwide known brands are used for whitening in our clinic.
Bleaching should be done 2 (two) days after oral prophylaxis. This will prevent sensivity which allows the enamel to heal during this time.
Bleaching can be done up to 1-3 sessions until reaching the whiteness you want to achive.
This procedure is not recommended for those with the following conditions:
- Tooth and gum hypersensivity
- Tooth cracks
- Big and old fillings
- Dentine exposes
- Exposed root surfaces… etc
